All Apologies

******************************************************************************

I loved this band!

Here is a cassette from one of their rehearsals:

The Sunspots

Peter (Master Cylinder): guitar
Nancy: the singer
Duane: electric bass guitar
Scott: plays the drums and sings some

the songs:

An Empty Heart
Don Leonard (Stand Still, Don't Blink!)
Rope On My Throat
Love Song (Room For Two)
Fine Things
The Sunspots Theme
Long Way to Windy City
My One and Only (Uh-huh)
Two Hands On the Bottle

two song four track demo tape engineered/recorded by Peter:

An Empty Heart
My One and Only (Uh-huh)

All songs (c) The Sunspots
Recording (c) MMB

This was the original line up for the band back when it began in 1990.
Peter and Scott had been MantaRays and school chums. Duane was a
Norbert and also a Berklee classmate. Nancy was attending art school
down the street. She made a fine singer and wrote the lyrics too!

They played one show at a loft party on Harrison Ave. then disbanded.
Peter and Nancy pressed onward with Mikey Dee on drums, Nancy moving to bass guitar, and the addition of a second guitarist named Hunt.
Shortly after that, Mikey Dee was replaced with Nick White
on drums and the rest is Boston/Cambridge, MA history.

Peter-Nancy-Hunt-Nick record a fantastic 7 inch at Fort Apache
and play many great shows. A splendid time indeed!
